My stomach hurts

And I only ate little bites of everything. Yikes. It's been a lazy day. I do not regret one bit staying home alone. I watched movies, failed at writing and took forever to carve out that little bastard of a pumpkin.

I tried to catch the cats being cute. THey were sleeping head to head on the floor by the computer. By the time I got the camera on them Soul was biting off his brother's face.



The dinner did come out even though there were a few bumps (as in who knew it would take me forever to ready the veggies).



There's pumpkin soup (in the pumpkin), brined turkey breast (I see why wildrider is a fan of brining), wish it had more skin on it to get nice but whatever, sweet potato casserole, pan gravy, ghostly asparagus roasted with olive oil and lemon, and the stuffing muffins didn't happen because i learned my sink is leaking into the cupboards below and all my damn muffin tins are rusted. whee. (Not pictured, pumpkin pie, the only thing I didn't make from scratch).

I really did only eat a little of all of it (and this will be my meal for the new few days).

I hope you all had a good holiday. I'm going to try and write but it was not going well earlier.

Yeah, Sis KP doesn't understand there isn't an army to feed, and overcompensates, I think. There's a line between 'wanting leftovers' and 'getting sick of eating the same thing' that she hasn't figured out yet.

her and my grandmother. Well grandma used to cook professionally for a few hundred people a day AND is of the firm belief everyone needs to haul 50 pounds of left overs home with them

The oyster dressing is gone, but there's a huge 9x12 pan of chicken dressing in the fridge in Mom's basement. MMmmm.
