He lept in my car as I was getting my bonsais out of it. I figured I might as well get them now (they're coming home with me too because no one is in the office to water them and our greenhouse is not to be trusted). He is friendly, tattier than I thought when I fetched him out. Sigh. I do think though that he's some neighbor's cat down off the hill for that female. If not he'll make cat # 35 (that's right I've rescued 34 freaking cats and 4 dogs since I've been in this place)

I've been cleaning. Which means my dust allergies are up and they are BAD. My entire body feels like it's covered with fire ants and my eyes are swollen half shut. I did, however, find all the gifts from Wales that I had squirrelled away.

The geminids meteor shower is tonight.You know I can't pass on a shower from my star sign!

Fandom - fma_giftexchange and fma big bang. At least I've started, right?

Original erotic - OMG so much I could be doing. Waiting on edits for the scarred soldier novel, working on finishing the nano novel Soldiers of the SUn, should start working again on my vampires in Vegas thing (or just let it simmer until I'm back there in may...), also I would like to start working on the story with my demon boy or the pure fantasy one. Thoughts?

Original Non erotic - Oh for pete's sake, let me just finish Makai's story, I've been trying all year, getting back into my dieselpunk story (finally) and maybe my fantasy nano from last year. All these poor poor abandoned nano novels! I think I've been doing this for 8 years and have only finished one.... Bad CoM bad


ETA - I sat out there for a half hour (who cares if it's in the 20s). I saw no less than a dozen shooting stars. Most were the briefest of flickers but two had beautiful streaking tails. If you want to know one of my top ten reasons for wanting to live in the country - stargazing.

over 30 cats, that's strange. Don't people neuter their cats where you live? Or do you have such a large feral population?

both. There is a very strange culture that spay/neuter is bad (in fact it hurts the shelters because people don't want to adopted a neutered animal but the shelters will not release an unneutered one) and a huge feral cat population numbering in the tens of thousands

Seriously? That's so backwards. Here it's considered irresponsible not to neuter your cats, unless you plan to breed. The shelters are popping at the seams as it is. Only gonna get worse after Christmas because some people will never learn that animals don't make awesome Christmas gifts for kids.

Yeah. Last time we had a bit of a meteor shower, we drove out in the middle of no where and saw some. Of course, it was apparently a spot that the deer were settling down so when we drove up, we just saw the reflection of their eyes.

Roomie and I joked that they'd find our bodies mauled by the carnivorous deer. XD
