Christmas Day

Since I'm too contagious to go to assisted living, I'm home alone and that's sort of a Christmas gift in and of itself. I hope all whole celebrate are having a good day.

Kanda has been the best boy. He learned on day one he couldn't go on the leather couch. He's not messed with the tree once but he does think about Godzilling the village.

Mom makes me a little crazy some times. She paid for the computer. That was supposed to be my already generous gift but she STILL bought me a ton of things. It's like Mom, it's too much.

I will do up pictures later (i.e probably a day or two). My brother got me the Star Trek door chime(whee), a mix & match beer set from Krogers all filled with beers with Moose in the label (inside joke, they used to call me Moose when I was young, not for my size, I was skinny, but for how hard I hit and ran in football) and he gave me a beautiful pendant his SiL made and he got me the 6 sided tam hat for my doctoral garb. WHEE! Also a tequila cake be brought back from Mexico complete with price tag reading 100.00 (yes John I know that's pesos not dollars)

Mom and Dad got me an insane amount of crap including a bat'leth letter opener, the TBBT atom earrings, a Dr Who Travel Mug, a plush Enterprise and a R2D2 lunch bag complete with sound and a lot of more practical things but it's the geek stuff I remember.

I got a cute card from bobfish and a really funny one from evil_little_dog and got some great gifts from my friends here. Thanks guys!

Good for Kanda. I hope he's not too disappointed to have to go back to Ohio and the little apartment.

The geeky stuff is what I remembered, too, but I got some nifty food stuff.

As soon as I saw that card, I knew you had to have it. I also knew your mom would probably try to steal it from you, and claim I sent it to her. :D

Still working on the move. I hope to be out by Dec. 31. I'm trying to sell a large, unmovable, unstorable Mission oak entertainment center. If not, I have to donate it to Goodwill to get it out. Sigh. It's really nice. I really hope someone buys it...Ah needs dah money.

Quantum kitty gets neutered and has his booster shots tomorrow, courtesy of rahirah. I'll pay her back if and when I'm employed.

Very worried about finances and housing. Sigh. I hate this crap.
