Holy crap, I was blown from the fast lane across the slow lane and onto the berm today going to work. Other than that it was a gorgeous day. Bright, blue, warmish but the wind could send you flying. I couldn't get out of the car because of the wind either.

I have SO many important things to get ready for this week, a test, my promotion portfolio, my faculty activity paperwork where in I get to predict the future (don't ask, according to the contract it's supposed to be what we did last academic year but our provost doesn't want that. I have to predict what I'll do next year. Win Nobel Prize. How's that? Get fired for being a sarcastic bitch?)

I do have some pretty cool news. Life University paid us a visit. They're trying to start a share program with us for their chiropractice school. the rep brought pizza. The neat thing is their campus (in Georgia) is so green even their utensils/plates in the cafeteria are cornstarch and compostable and they get locally sourced sustainable food. neat. Better news? They will fly me down there for a three day seminar. Well that's cool. I can probably pay for a couple days myself and poke around even though I've been to Atlanta (and it's not my favorite place in the world). Still free trip and it would count to that thing I just mentioned for my faculty activity.

And now to go put on my smut hat and finish this damn big bang.

But first, I forgot to put up something for Chinese New Year but here have my sign. I am a Fire Goat and this is scarily accurate.

SCARY with the wind... yikes. I HATE driving in wind like that. I'm used to it, but still hate it...

I had THREE separate Abby moments today... too funny. (No Lolita... but pigtail braids and my cute Hipster Maltese tshirt... and duh... black. ;)

AND I survived the day... I'm good at dissecting. This is pretty cool.

My Anatomy I professor has a CV I need to SUPER look into. He was in the NASA department that designed experiments for the shuttle... including THOSE experiments... he of course was not there in the "cordoned off" areas where they did the autopsies, but he heard "enough". :(

Also, he's going to make me learn anatomy and excel if he has to drag me kicking and screaming. I think I have an intellectual crush.
