Some good wishes if you please

cornerofmadnessToday I dumped off my promotion portfolios to the provost and dean. A few good wishes wouldn't go amiss. I won't know anything until April but it would be nice to have a promotion so I don't need an allowance from my parents any more.
I tried to change my doctor's appt since I a) forgot blood work b) it's 8 AM on a day I'm off. No go. If I don't do it now I can't get back in until May. Frankly if this was just my routine diabetes check I might have blown it off but he wants to put me on a new, potentially dangerous, drug for the PCOS and weight and I've decided to at least try it. But I can't wait til the end of April/May because that's when I leave the state. So I'm going. Insert cuss word of choice. Some good wishes for this would be nice.
I can't help it. Injuries aside the meteorite is fascinating me. I think the asteroid sailed by and took Kanda's common sense with it. He's been SO bad today, unlike his usual self. This morning I woke to find him playing with a head of garlic. Not sure where he got it. As I was putting on my shoes to leave, I hear this pick pick pick noise and look over. He's under the kitchen table on the chair where the old vinyl has split and he's pulling on the split making it worse (new behavior). When I get home, he spends a half hour staring at a corner until I come clean it up.(Found nothing) then when I threw a tea bag in the garbage he made no less than three tries to get it (he never gets in the garbage) before getting my purse and begin to dig out everything from inside (another new thing).
I did try to go hear the talk at the library so I would know how to do mine. Besides it was about Canterbury and that would have been cool. So in spite of feeling like hell, I venture out. It was raining at the school but not around my house. Half was there it's raining. In Jackson it's snowing. Sigh. I go for Mexican for dinner. I come out and it's still a half hour before the talk which isn't until 7. I decide not to stay because it would be very icy by 8/9 pm. It stopped snowing about two seconds after I get home.
Declutter Day - 29 item tossed-Splenda box Why Kept- It was a box from Costco with another bag of splenda still in it Why tossed -I forgot about it in a lonely corner of the kitchen under the table. Heck I didn’t even know it still had splenda in it. Who needs the box?
