Thanks to everyone who came by jana_denardo yesterday to talk with Ms Duncan. I know we both appreciated it.

And hey I'm talking to you on my new internet. It was Justin (he of the no call backs) who came and you know what he reaped his own sowing. If he had just called me back and came when he was supposed to it would have been 40 outside. Today was DAMP and in the 20s and he had to spend most of the time under the apt in the creepy-ass crawl space of doom. I don't know why they had to drill a hole in my floor and do it this way but whatever. I have internet that allows me to place Facebook games (I have yet to check youtube and that sort of thing because I'm just worn the fuck out today for some reason. Okay with the twinging in the uterus I can guess what the reason is going to be shortly).

I have unlimited gigabytes, at Verizon's speed or better for almost half their price. Huzzah!


Did I mention I'm a World Book Night giver again? Yes, I know after last year's miserable time I said never again but I have plans for this year. I have The Lightning Thief which is less scary than last year's. But I'm not off to a good start. Apparently either Athens was not impressed with WBN or WBN was not impressed with Athens but that is not an option leaving me driving all the way to Charleston or Columbus. Sigh.

I did get a lecture done and almost ALL the book work research on my project. I feel accomplished.

I don't know why Verizon bothers with limits for Internet usage. Frankly, I thought the limits thing went away with by-the-hour dial-up service and other relics of the 1990's. All it does is drive their customers to other, better Internet providers. I am beyond glad you no longer have to worry about going over limit now. I'm sure you'll get a lot more (cough, cough) done.

seriously. You are exactly right. From what I understand from my students limits are very much in force as a way of milking teens who can't even put their cells down
