Today was the senior art show at the Greer Museum on campus. EB and I went in spite of the cold rain. I like to support the students. I did really like the ceramics. What I liked most was the MOUNTAIN of chocolate covered strawberries and the vat of creampuffs. Seriously we were joking we only saw the art on the wall next to the food. After eating my weight in chocolate covered strawberries (see, I thought that would have taken longer - Mom) and talking to the artists I trundled home.

I got some dirt therapy in. I spent the afternoon planting seeds and marking it all with my nail polish. Each tray got a number and a color and it was all kept score on paper (including a dot of the color). Who knew I had TWENTY different nail colors including three greys and three shades of black?! So not only did I plant 20 DIFFERENT things I planted multiples. I have no clue where I'm going to put this crap when it sprouts. You won't be able to see my apartment thru the green.

Boy I hope this is just rain right now. It's supposed to be freezing rain. shudders

back to those 20 nail polishes. This just reaffirms the fact the next declutter has to be that damn three tier shelving of pharmaceuticals/bathroom items. I have no idea what's on it any more. pathetic.

Yeah, what ARE you going to do with all those plants when they sprout? I do the same thing, and then top it off by going to the local Spring Festival, which is this coming weekend, I just realized, and coming home with even more plants I have no room for. Yay.

The art sounds nice. We have no art here at the moment. We have the big horse show (HITS, which is currently under quarantine due to a contagious equine herpes outbreak--and a very good time was had by none) and the big cattle drive through downtown (shoot me). What is it with the strawberries? We're awash in them, and so is Ohio, apparently. It's too early for strawberries, so where are they coming from? Are they a manifestation of Florida's freaky-hot winter? Is Indian River inundating America with out-of-season, global-warming fruit? Do I care, as long as strawberries are dirt cheap and I have chocolate to melt and cream to whip?

I have no idea. I could dig up outside the kitchen door I can't get out of. and put up fences so the jackass with the lawnmower doesn't get them. good luck to you too

I have no idea. I try not to think of what third world country using human excrement as fertilizer that's growing them. And they were good. They tasted sweet and ripe even though it's too early for berries
