SPRING BREAK!

My job has insanely low pay, students who don't try, co-workers who try even less but it's punctuated with ridiculous amounts of time off. I'm not actually a fan of spring break. No one comes back from it, not really.

That said, I'm heading to PA on Sunday. I was going to go tomorrow but it was supposed to rain. It was also supposed to snow today. It was 60. Go figure. I had to go to Chillicothe for an oil change so I said, okay let's spend money I don't have on a spring break celebration.

I had a Red Lobster coupon so I splurged and while I enjoyed it I probably should have gone a buck or two more and gotten one of the other dinners. This one was good, shrimp and lobster and 'grown up' mac and cheese with a white cheese bacon sauce. That was the problem. Good mac and cheese except the bacon was RAW. Not cooked and gone limp from the moisture of the cheese. Raw as in I'm not going to touch it. whee.

I ran over to the Krogers to get one thing and they had the Lays people there giving out sample bags of those three new flavors. Well, since it was the end of the day they gave me EVERY flavor. Cool. I'm looking forward to trying them.

I also got a chocolate malted shake at Steak n Shake, lactose intolerance be damned.

I have a bag of the chicken & waffle flavor -- I like it. It's a little weird, but tasty. I haven't seen the other flavors yet.

Ick, raw bacon. The time I tried it the bacon was nicely crispy, which set off the cheese REALLY well. I hope you sent it back. Bad cook.

no, because I was dumb enough to go there Friday at 5 during Lent and they were more interested in getting us out of there. I just picked the three pieces out.
