Yesterday and today I was gone for more than 12 hours. So he's been running all over, crying and clinging. Also I believe he was a pervert in a past life because he won't stop watching me in the shower. Tonight he tried to swat me in the shower and fell in. I laughed. Now he's sulking.

I went to my camp nano meet up. I really like the ML. She and I are only a year apart (therefore significantly older than the rest who are mostly rotating Ohio U. students) and pagan and gamer and it's like wow, nice to have a friend who isn't a coworker. Because it IS nice to talk about stuff that's not work related. Anyhow I described my new story idea to her and she liked it (and shared my aversion to the anthology idea but at least I know that publisher would do riskier work)

Well more of a strengthening of friendship. We've known each other for about 4-5 years now but the more we hang out (instead of just in Nov once a year) the more in common we seem to have.

Glad you found a good Camp Nano comrade. I attempted to join a "cabin" of older (35+) science fiction writers and ended up with a bunch of kids, one who is writing a novel about a character with Asperger's syndrome. 'Cause that's not likely to be autobiographical or anything.

I will stick to reporting in to my flist.

well she's my ML for nano so I've known her for years but we're now getting together as a writing group more than just in nov.

I don't even know who is in my cabin. I haven't looked. Last summer I signed up for erotica and ended up with young teens in my cabin. Um....

I think it's to give you writing buddies. They also track progress by cabin as well as individual. But if I can't be assigned writing buddies in a similar life situation/genre, I'm not much interested in getting my writing buddies from their assignment.
