I found a lost week
Apr. 8th, 2013 10:22 pmI SERIOUSLY thought this was the third week in April. I told everyone my Wales speech was Friday, students, coworkers, Mom and Dad....um I was off a week. WTF. Well my brain keeps waking me up with the full body quakes and racing thoughts so that isn't helping it's cognitive abilities.
Still doing better than the student who told me last week (week 11 of 15) that they thought the class started at 10:30 not 10. WTF? How do you go a whole semester....
Today has been sad with Annette Funicello and Margaret Thatcher passing. I'll be honest, I'm not going to pretend I know all that much about Thatcher's politics. I barely know what goes on here but she DID represent something to me. She was an example that a woman could lead a country. Up until then so many men around me said it was impossible and when she took power, they backtracked with the idea that England is so small that it didn't count. WTF? To me she was an example, for better or worse, of what a woman could do.
I'm about halfway through editing Kept Tears I still hold out hope of getting asked for the whole novel by June. That would be a great birthday present.
I had to get up before dawn to get to the dentist today. Whee. I have no issues which is good except one inflamed gum around a wisdom tooth which is hard to get a brush around some times. Yeah I have my wisdom teeth. All four of them. None of my teeth are crooked as a result. My mouth is just that big.
I got chunks of the living room cleaned (i.e I put it in a box and hid the shit in a corner)
Declutter day 59 item tossed- Mystery book why kept-Wanted to read why tossed - read. Going in the ‘mother’s day gift’ pile

ETA - notice I bumped up my word count

Date: 2013-04-09 02:58 am (UTC)Haha I remember in summer 2007 I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth out. I was taking summer classes at uni, so the next day during discussion I didn't say anything (pretty much the TA was repeating what the lecturer said last class). XD
Also want to let you know the past several days I have been reading your old FMA fics Source of Sorrow (finished it) and Sorrow's Dark Array. Enjoying the series a lot so far. The sequel I finished Ch 26, might finish reading the rest of the story sometime this week haha.
