Well, as romantic as I can get at any rate. Sappy shippy stuff isn't my forte. I'm only putting up my own fic because well I'm self-centred that way and i'm lucky I can remember my own fic let alone someone else's but feel free to drop your reccs here for others to see.

While not my usual ship by any means, I have an Angel/Faith that's kinda romantic, Deeper than the Top Notes.

Okay, it's not really romantic but it's got lots of Spike and Dru doing things that turn them on. Wishes on Her Eyes

A Box of Crayons story, one of the most romantic things I've got going, Connor and Dawn get married in secret with a little help from Giles Even to the Edge of Doom.

Buffy and Angel tango around each other in Las Vegas in Just a Devil with Love to Spare

Connor talks Faith into doing some things she's never done before. He thinks it's a romantic outing. She's not so sure. Listening to the Whispers of Stone

Completely unadulterated holiday Dawn/Spike sap, Silent Night

Written as a Valentine challenge,  Wes/Faith, Complicated

That's more than enough sugar to keep anyone happy. ENJOY

Really enjoyed the Faith/Angel. There was a sweetness and a friendship to that pairing that I enjoyed reading.

I've printed out the holiday story about Dawn/Spike and will read it later.

Glad you liked Deeper than the Top Notes, it was one of the ones I was uneasy about when I wrote it since it's not really a pairing I'm into.

Hope you like the D/S one when you get a chance (that's set in my home town area)

The D/S story is 5 chapters. Too long for tonight; that's one that I'll save until I finish some of the longer ones I've printed out.

Have you read [livejournal.com profile] speakr2customrs Tale of the Slayer? It's set about 1,000 BP, on the Isle of Man (where he lives), and is a fanfic Tales of the Slayer. It's over at <http://www.livejournal.com/community/watchersdiaries/>.

It's about 50 pages, so I've got to finish that one first, in between the paper grading and the prepping for a re-vamped course...

There are some good slayer tales there - none of them set pre-1996.

Dyugh. It's definitely bedtime for me.

I meant to say: ALL of them are set pre-1996.

thanks for the tip, no I haven't read it. I'll be honest I barely have time to read the stuff I'm betaing. It's sad really. I have this huge backlog of stuff to read. I'm running about a year behind on the longer stuff. Hangs head in shame.

It sounds really interesting though.

I really liked the Angel/Faith fic. They had real chemistry together I always thought. I liked the bitter-sweetness of it in this story.
Also enjoyed the Buffy/Angel in Las Vegas fic. I have to admit that deep in my heart, I am a Buffy/Angel shipper. This fic had a wonderful humour and wimsy to it which I enjoyed.
Haven't had time to read the others, but I will.

Thanks for the input (oh there's so many there, I could keep you busy reading for a month). I do think t hat Angel/Faith have a certain chemistry. I prefer them more in a Big Brother helping little sister role but that wasn't the challenge so...

I'll admit it, while B/A has never charged me up like it has so many BUT it's the ship I like best for either of those two so if I'm writing shippy fic on my own acord for those two it'll be B/A

I <3 Wishes on her Eyes! Such a pretty fic! Left you a review on the site, hope you get it, plus I mentioned that there seems to be a bit of the story where the paragraphs got mixed up. And when I clicked to review I was presented with two buttons/scroll down menus to choose from instead of just one :S (just tellig you so you guys can see what's causing it) (^-^)

grazie. I'll pass that on to Chris and I'll go look at what the hell's wrong with the story (she loaded that one, not me). I love that story, it's my favorite S/D that I wrote. We appreciate the feed.

Close in spelling to the Italian (not a giant surprise). Chris said THANKS for your input. It's helping us fix it. Oh I'll probablyjust reload the story when I get a chance.

Yup, that bit of our language comes from Latin instead of Arabic.

Amo tanto parlare in italiano, e cosi amicevole :P

And she's more than welcome :) I'm sure you'll all get it working great soon.

Chris said feel free to get in touch with her if you want to try and play with the archive for youself.

hmm, I get that you like to speak Italian but I don't know this word "amicevole" My great grandparents were illiterate so I never learned to read the language and haven't actively spoken it since my great gram died nearly 30 years ago.

Oh,ok, thanks! Tell her I really appreciate that! I'll keep that in mind for after I've gone through the basics of php and mysql and am trying to make a start on figuring out the code.

by "e cosi amicevole" I meant that it's such a friendly language(strictly translated it means "it's so friendly", but I'm used to hearing colloquial Italian). At least that's how I feel about it, I much rather listen to Italian than to, lets say French.

And I learnt most of my Italian off the TV, when the only cartoons you have are in Italian you tend to pick it up. I did have it for 5 years in highschool, but generally once you know how to speak it it's not such a difficult language to write in.

Oh okay. And yes I most certainly don't know colloquial Italian. I do know that it can differ pretty wildly from region to region

Yep, a friend of mine is studying there and has told me that since she picked it up from her friends from Rome, it sounds very different from the people who speak it where she is (Perugia).
