I'm so glad of that. Even Vegas will be less hot. Speaking of Vegas when did it get THIS expensive to eat? Since when is $$=50$ a meal?? $$ usually denotes relative cheap eats. Geez. Let's just say that what my school budgeted my meals for aren't going to happen. I might be eating at McDonald's, just saying. When you're asking 10$ for hot and sour soup there's a problem... And there are SO. Many. Asian restaurants and I want to eat at them all and it's not gonna happen.

I got my hair cut off today. It looks better. It's a bit disturbing to see I have no roots. my hair is snow white at the temples and yet no roots. I haven't colored my hair in 6 weeks. Um....

LOL Las Vegas does have a lot of Asian restaurants. I went to two Thai ones with my family and my dad's boss's family. XD

If you need to eat cheaply in Vegas, go to In & Out Burger! it's way better than McDonald's!! :D

thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Actually I dont' do McDonald's (I don't particularly like burgers) but looking at all these 20$ lunch places and 50-90$ dinners I wouldn't mind a break.

There are a couple of not-as-expensive places tucked in here and there -- go across to TI (Treasure Island) and see if the Pho place is still there. A bowl of noodles wasn't horrifically overpriced, if I remember correctly; and Noodles in the Bellagio is excellent (but I can't remember the price -- I don't think it was too much about $20).

There's also Grand Wok at MGM - pricier, but very good - and I think it's called Chen Chen (or something like that) in New York New York.

Off strip, if you like BBQ, go to Ellis Island (about a block up from Bellagio, behind Bally) -- that's cheap AND excellent.

Or go downtown, that's where the cheap eats are. Still $10 buffets in the downtown area.

The pho place is. In fact TI was the cheapest of the casinos in that area. I DID like Noodles and most of it is about 15$ for lunch there.

Mom can go downtown. I can't. I'm locked into the mirage area because of the con. Well i could go for dinner

Yeah, downtown is a trek. But at least TI is connected to Mirage via the tram, and it's just a hop from TI to the mall and its ordinary Food Court. (I couldn't survive Vegas without the ABC Stores).

Yeah, the big one (or rather, HUGE one), with the space ship awning out front, Fashion Show Mall. (Across Sands Ave.) A three-story, sprawling mall that doesn't have a single bookstore (I worry about Las Vegas sometimes), but it does have an ABC store, a food court, some more restaurants, and a Skechers store.
