I got to pick black raspberries

Yummy. I'm glad I got to pick a few before I head for home.

I gave Kanda a new ball. He's SO happy. He was very good with my cousins too. They stopped in to see me and to pick up a dresser for her daughter's college apt I can't believe how entitled her roommates are. My cousin is happy with a very used dresser. Her roommates won't allow various colors of couches in there, the kitchen table MUST be square. No one is allowed to bring an older non-flat screen tv. WTF? My college dorm? I had a cot on a cinder block wall, a table that was one of those spools of wire from a construction site and a bunch of stolen milk crates with a tiny tv and I was proud as hell of it. Also if i told my parents what i wouldn't allow, they'd have let me move in with jackshit.


I got a bigger advance than I thought,750$. That's the top of their pay scale. This makes me please and a bit arrogant. Here's hoping I can do that much in sales.

Mmm, blackberries. I want to go north to the wild blackberries (feral blackberries?) and get some there. Hmm. Wonder if I can do that this weekend. They might be ripe by now.

Our dorms came already furnished with crap. I still recall one particularly hideous green lamp that was shaped a bit like a giant grenade. I called it the Avocado Horror.

hhahaha that's funny. I had the cot chained on a slab on the cinder block wall between the closet and the built in book case/desk. Eventually the spool went and we dragged the dressers out of the closet to have more room all around and a tv stand. my light was over my bed so I'd slam my head into it every time I woke up (literally jutted out over the bed for studying) I chained a few boyfriends to it instead
