Kanda, the attention whore

He's miserable being back here. He LOVED having three people paying attention to him. While I'm enjoying the quiet, he's running around meowing and fussing and clinging. He was in the shower with me, attacked my towel coming out of it and has been in my face more times than I can count. He about had a heart attack when I left to go get groceries.

My insurance is being a dick about my meds. They're getting a call.

I got my bathroom cleaned top to bottom and the stove. The doodad that turns the bathtub spigot to the shower froze. I spent the day trying to vinegar/CLR it into moving. Fuck You, woman. I got pliers after it. Nope. Wandered up to the landlord with the rent check. Fix my shower and you get this. He could only half fix it. THe water is so bad and hard here it ruined/pitted the plastic washers. At least it kinda works now.

I'm so not ready for tomorrow. I don't want to teach summer school any more but since I'm poor and need to buy things I better go do it.

I hate being back here. Last night one of the neighbors (potentially a new one) was screaming in the courtyard. He's lucky the rest of us hillbillies didn't just shoot him.

Need to go talk to human resources at some point this week. I need to know my new salary and what not.

I got all buy one tomato planted, then knocked over a planter and had to redo it all and clean the porch.

I ate a cheesy bacon hot dog on a pretzel bun from Sonics and I'd do it again.

Also I have an earworm that won't go away. Hal an Tow...so my brain thinks it's the 1500s.

Kai is a fat grey cat a year old now. No particular pedigree. We got him from a friend who got him as a stray. He was such a skinny little thing, but now he's quite a size.

He and Kanda seem to share more than a few personality traits
