It's almost over

cornerofmadnesstoday was the last lecture. Tomorrow is the final. So glad.
I lost it on the students today. Ididn't yell but I did tell them in 8 years they were the first to NOT get it so please tell me where I failed in teaching it to them. For two days I've been telling them producers are things that make their own energy via photosynthesis. I asked them on land it's what (plants) and on water (plankton) and they answered me correctly. I assumed from that they understood.
So their homework question was if you are in an oak-hickory forest system what would be the prominent producer and they literally did NOT KNOW what I was asking. I told my mother this and she got it in 30 seconds so I asked again what's a producer. They could tell me that and they could tell me plants and plankton but they couldn't go beyond definition to think it thru. I told them you can't just memorize. You have to be able to USE it.
One more day then I get a 2 week break until the next batch who will be IN the nursing/allied health and or pre-med programs. Save me.
And I'm thinking I have to do something with Kanda, maybe a battery operated toy for when I leave or another cat to hate on or something because when I am gone longer than usual he pulls out his fur and then I can't get rid of him when I do come home. He's in my face like a second skin.
bah. Here have some happy. I so want to be in a Thor/Loki sandwich.
And since you guys are helpful story woes and a possible solution.

My friend ES sent this. It's really cool. slowed down theme songs I loved Sherlock and Dr Who especially. It allows you to really hear the musicality.
