It wasn’t like he planned it this way. Angel knew it could have turned out worse but he wasn’t entirely sure how. L.A. had been sucked into a hell dimension in no small part because of the actions of he and his friends. Someone had to stand against the demons. Angel thought they would have died. Some of them had. He blamed himself. All these souls trapped, including his friends; worse, including his son. Angel wished more than anything Connor had listened to him and run. Still, he was happy not to be alone in this galaxy of lost souls.
