I was so glad to see that. I wasn't all that enthusiastic to go but I have always liked Bill. He was at the Meadows Racetrack and casino and Lucky Uncle got us tickets (Mom and my cousin, S) went. We did NOT get dinner as planned since it was so insanely crowded that at 3 hours before show time it was nearly a 2 hour wait for the restaurant we wanted so food court pizza it was (it's pretty good pizza). We also had 50 cent drinks. I got an entire can of angry orchard cider for that. YUM.

We were right down front and that means ON the race track. There was scraped remains of horse poo...Bill kept rifting off the barn smell every time the winds shifted. It was a glorious night about 65 degrees. The seating sucked because they're all very narrow plastic seats ziptied together. MISERABLE. And my back was playing up even before I got there. I was nearly in tears by the end it hurt so much but Bill did a two hour set which was pretty amazing. Granted he was seated the whole time but he was very funny. He opened talking about Nelson Mandela (who was on Bill's t-shirt) and I was like oh here we go, this isn't going to be funny and actually that wasn't but then he started on his search for Tarzan in Africa and it was very funny from there on out, especially the bits about marriage.

I didn't win much but Mom won nearly 200$ so all in all a good night.

Oh and the water came on @ 3Am this morning

I am glad you had a good time, seats and meal not withstanding. And barn smell, wheeee.

I read 'scraped remains of horse' and was vaguely horrified before I reread.

I'm glad the show was enjoyable. With older comedians it can be iffy.

That's good.

Yeah, but it's not that bad a smell. *likes the rich earthy smell of a stable*
