Blinks. The crazy neighbor who's being evicted apologized to me for the scene last week. This is the most she's ever spoken to me. I guess that the other neighbors have been picking on her kid (according to her). It makes her rage more understandable but I'm still glad she's going because she and her husband scream at each other and the kids in the same way she did last week.


I could use some help guys. I need to start coming up with stuff for my upcoming novel and one of those things is a 'brand.' I'm lousy at this because I don't care. I never pay any attention to that. I'm lucky if I can recognize multi-million dollar brands. I can barely tell Coke bottles from Dr. Pepper. I can watch a commercial, tell you everything that happened in it and have NO idea what it's advertising.

So now I'm stuck trying to think of something short and sweet that would be an umbrella for my writing. I write mostly fantasy/urban fantasy/SF. Someone on my author's list does the same and has 'other worlds, other loves' (or something like that seriously, this stuff skids off my brain like it was Teflon). I would love some help with this. I'd gladly credit the person on my blog and web site (provided that didn't bother them being it's erotica). Thoughts? Might toss this to my local writing group too.

Did I mention I broke my toes last week? Walking on it for 6 hours made it a bit ouchy.

Other things I forgot about the fest yesterday, I got a goji berry plant. And standing in line for the portapotties, done up as out houses, there was a young man that had a Totoro tattoo next to the little dudes from Princess Monanoke. I told him I liked them and his whole lit up. He wants a Miyazki sleeve and started point out all the places he planned to add to his arm. Cute.
