As for me, it was one of those days that make my friends go 'HOW do you not crack under it all?'
I was very tired and got jack shit done. Thank god I finished my exams yesterday for tomorrow. I have more to do yet tonight but not that.
My neighbors are THIS close to the cops coming. I'm so sick of them. One of the ones being evicted was taunting the landlord's son 'I'm going to live here forever.' Oh fuck no you're not (I'll have to tell the guy in the writers' group I'm living out his story and I don't like it). And then the one who wanted to bump off my internet was outside with her baby screaming at the baby daddy. If we continue to have these public scream fests, I WILL call the cops. That's the good thing about Autumn. They'll go into their respective hovels.
Then my oven's element caught fire and burnt out today as I was heating it up for dinner. I had to replan that. Landlord came down and gave me some shit (I know he's under pressure but I'm one of the good tenants). He couldn't find the damn serial number. He pulls the oven out. I didn't know it moved so easily so it's not been cleaned behind in forever and there was left over mouse shit from the infestation. Not only was I grossed out, he gets shirty with me. Why do you have mice if you have a cat? We get that cleaned up. He finds the serial number in the pan drawer (what? You didn't look there before dragging out the oven). You DO know how to clean this oven. Yeah Tom, it's a self cleaner and it IS clean. Do you see a mess in there?
THen I point out again that my fridge is broken. He takes the part to see if he has one or has to get one. Do you know how much this cost (it's the plastic bumper to the shelf)? No, Tom. I don't. Why? Do you think I broke it for fun? Think I'm buying it? I'm not. Sorry it's 50$ but you charge enough in rent to cover it.
THEN I sit down to eat my salad and something happens to DISH that requires me to spend a half hour with India to get it fixed.
And my broken toe hurts and I kinda want to not be an adult today.
I was looking at the sad housing situation and I love this little shack It's SO artistic. It's tiny, a few hundred square feet less than my apt. I would have to add on in a major way but it's adorable. Dad and I are wondering, however, how it lives in OH. I can see rammed earth construction in the desert but in 'it never stops raining OH?' Dad does think this is the perfect house for me and my 50 cats. Mom doesn't like the driveway.
And ELD found this! I LOVED this show when I was in H.S. (it's horrible, seriously bad but still). I loved Dirk Blackpool (Duncan Reiger, I had such a crush on him. I made him the face for one of my original characters back then).

Having broken a finger a few years ago & possibly my toe when I was kid. Who knew it was possible to drop something heavy on your foot & the resulting bruise was actually a broken bone? o.0 Hey, I was a lil kid at the time & always falling & getting bruised, scraped, etc. ;p Seriously, I know it hurts & I know it hurts A LOT when it rains. (which was how I found out the finger was broken. it hurt SO MUCH days later cuz it was raining & I went to doctor to find out why. XD) *is one of those people that only goes to the doctor when they're dying or hurt so bad they can't function*
