But every time I hear them say this is a really old cold case. It's 30 years old, I keep thinking it's in the 50s because there is no way the 1980s are 30 years ago. Seriously this case was 1982 and they kept calling it ancient. I was in junior high. Whimpers. God in 2 years it'll be my 30th h.s. reunion. Where does time go? For that matter how the hell is it October? I'm pretty sure I just came back to this place to teach summer school last week.

Speaking of how the hell did this get so old, here's the 25th Treehouse of Horror trailer. How many horror/sf authors movies/books can you catch? This is why The Simpsons is still pretty darned good.

I did not go to the Renn Fest. It did rain and when it wasn't it felt like Florida all hot and muggy. That crap can stay down in the wang for all I care. I DID however be productive even if it doesn't look it. I got all three lectures filled with pictures. Mom called 'what are you doing?' Putting pictures of diseased penises into my PowerPoint. 'Trying to get fired?' Well if they don't fire me after this... Now to make the student version of these notes. It's not the right series but I did them out of order. OOPS.

I also got my Nano time wasting out of the way early. I'll probably talk more about this tomorrow but I was so proud of my ability to make text with Paint's suck ass program without having a huge white text block that I had to share. Here it is with a lame title and a pen name I'm STILL not sure about. Yes yes I know a cover shouldn't be horizontal but there is only so much time I wanted to spend and it was hard to find any picture from this time period IN a station. (This is St. Pancreas Station in London)

I also got some stuff cleaned up. When I got the couch my living room was a mess so I just swept it all into bags and hid it. Those bags are still there. I got one emptied. I even got some writing done and YAY both origfic_bingo and gsd_rtfn are back so check it out for the kick in the butt on writing.

This weekend I'm addicted to the Panart free integral hang music. I've listened to so many buskers. I would love to learn how to play this thing (but as several snide commenters mentioned they're busking with an instrument that's close to two grand).
