cornerofmadnessAwesome Autumn day 3 Renn Fest ! I went on Highlander Day specifically to see Albannach Points to the Youtube (Not mine but I did try to take them but I'm too damn tired to upload them).
BUT I'm getting a bit melancholic about my beloved Renn Fest. Most of my favorite vendors have gotten old and retired. And now it's too much jewelry. Seriously. TOO MUCH jewelry. I'm wondering if that's why one of my favorite jewelry vendors wasn't there. Next year I might just save up for the one vendor and be done with it. I did get to see Dirk and Guido the swordsmen and of course Albannach. I loved them. They're so high energy (and I think the long haired crazy drummer is kinda cute). I did want to shoot the teen/early 20 somethings who were all but climbing on stage (another sign of aging on my part). I now see why my Roman ancestors were terrified of the Scots.

silvrethorn that I now regret, I did find something for evil_little_dog and for mom. I'll have to hide the earrings I bought myself from rain_oubliette, a set of tentacle earrings with glow in the dark suckers. The only other piece of jewelry I bought myself was junk jewelry, cheap but fun, a cameo but the woman is a skeleton. I did buy a book from a fantasy author (I should hide from these people. I always feel obligated if it sounds good). and I got 2 cds that I THOUGHT were from Albannach but weren't. I was kinda pissed but it's a tax on the stupid. I didn't look carefully but it was right outside their venue....and now I'm sad since you can't really find Albannach on Amazon. That said, what I did get was Tartan Terror and they were good.
I did get a henna tattoo and a much more extensive one since it was mispriced and she honored it. (no way I would have paid what she asked). It was a really nice day, a bit overcast but I actually prefer that but HUMID. Man that dress is wrecked. Smells like I was wearing it for a week. i drank nothing because i didn't want to pee in the portapotty with that dress on, got to the 71/35 interchange and got a big Sweet Tea at McDonalds (and used their toilet) and drank that 32 oz bad boy almost before I was thru the intersection back onto the highway.

There was no decluttering today. I was barely home. Kanda is PISSED. I've been gone most of the day for 3 days and he keeps running from me now like I'm a stranger in the house, the little shit (Oh he'll come over if I have food)
