The medical, math and science club sold nearly 200$ worth of chili and hot dogs at our Annual Halloween luncheon. Other than abandoning me for an hour in the morning they did all the work. A husband/wife team came as Frankenstein's Monster and the Bride of Frankenstein and one came as Rosie the Riveter. I'd share a picture but I'm not comfortable with that since a) no permission b) no way students ever see this blog. There's an older student closer to my age who is excited that I'm more than okay with her being pagan.

My ankle, on the other hand, is SO unhappy I was on my feet all day. It swelled so much that my shoe was fit to burst. I had to take it off after a while. A coworker was shocked I could get to the parking lot. She's like someone should have given you a ride out there. I'm like I was there and back again. My ankle is just reminding me that I broke it in six places and it's like Fuck You and the horse you rode in on.

That same coworker gave me a bag of my favorite organic coffee. I saw it on her desk was like OOO Silver Bridge. Take one...really? She buys a basic crate of it every month (no lie 12 bags) and I will take her money tomorrow even if she says no. At least I will try to pay. Another coworker had his wife donate something to the cause that I want the recipe of. pumpkin latte made with actual pumpkin puree. I think I drank half the crock pot full and my sugar reminded me that I did.

I didn't realize that my dress was half falling off but here's me, freshly dyed hair in my office door. I'm more sad that the necklace was half hidden. Also you can really see where they cut the collar bone out of my shoulder. It's like wow, divot.

Starting in the right upper corner are the black cherry tomatoes with a few grape tomatoes that didn't grow like grapes (ah hybrids)s, lower right corner are hillbillies (much smaller than should be) then the heart shaped celebrities and the upper left were the best ones for my money, the heirloom Caspian pinks.

That is a nice lot of money. What does it get donated to, or did I miss that?

I know locally, the college has two groups that does a chili/soup drive, and you buy a bowl made by the art students to fill with the chili, which is pretty cool. They donate it to one of the prevent abuse local groups.
