Sleep weirdness

I wasn't sleepy last night and busy but we can blame a pot of coffee for that. That wasn't the reason for the weirdness. I didnt' go to be til nearly 2 but I was suddenly SO HUNGRY I had to get back up to eat something because my stomach was cramping. So I get back to bed at 3, wake up at 6 then 8 then gave up.

Felt fine all day until I came home. Thank goodness for writing time at the library. My will power faded. I did at least get some of the living room cleaned. Not nearly enough but some.

I found out that David Garrett will be in Pittsburgh next March. I call mom and tell her to get tickets.

Mom - Okay, who is he?

Me - world class violinist.

MOm- ew. I don't want to see that. Now if he were a pianoist.

I could not get her to agree to go see a violinist. I'm not sure what she has against the violin but apparently all these years mom has been harboring a hatred of the instrument. Sad. It's one of my favorites.


I'll be back later with word count and snippet. I just killed and pan fried two 10 year olds. I'm going to hell.

Killingsworth pointed to the gleam of embers near a rustic bench near a creek.

Reanna flashed her light over, picking up a cast iron skillet on the embers.

“I do not want to look in that pan,” Placid muttered.

“There's something on the bench.” Reanna swooped over to get it. It was a note.

“Oh hell,” Killingsworth moaned. “Tell me that's not.”

Placid stared into the pan. There was meat in the pan, seared with what looked like peas. His stomach felt like it was trying to stuff itself up and out of his mouth. “Is anything on that paper?”

“Dear detectives, I know it will be a long night for you. I made you a little something to tide you over. Those darlings were quite delicious with a bit of wine,” Reanna read, her voice tremulous.


Declutter day 164 item tossed -Blue denim shirt why kept -Wore it why tossed-Not into this style currently, also it is nearly 20 years old…



p.s o_mother_o was right, one of the eggs I bit and was thrown out of the nest is reappearing when I post but I don't even HAVE that code! Nor does it appear on my scroll. What's this all about?

it's some new thing they are doing with bitten eggs. your other dragons basically reject them or they 'float in the ether' for a while before becoming tangible again. most of the time they just act like normal: bitten, egg phase, crack crack, voila vamp hatchy. I have only had a couple do the weird disappear-reappear thing.

I'm sorry about your Mom not wanting to see Garrett with you. Would Sharri? Maybe you could ask Mom for tickets for you to go with someone else.

exactly. of course it's the week AFTER spring break so I'd have to drive back twice. gah. Though if it's in the middle of the week the point is moot
