I went to the China Panda and it took forever since it was packed. I couldn't even move my buggy in Krogers (and shockingly the big Krogers also had no blackstrap Molasses) and the Union Diner was just as busy. I got some progress on my nano but not as much as I'd like.

I'm getting none done now, trying to get the edits into my damn novella done. Also I get the feeling I'm getting no art for

fmabigbang I did NOT notice that they wanted 15K as the rough draft. It used to be considerably less than that. That's three-fourths of the story which I suppose is a way to keep people from backing out and leaving the artist with wasted art. The fault is entirely mine. I didn't see it and probably wouldn't have joined if I had because I knew all the paying writing stuff I'd be doing at this time of year, not to mention nano. Sigh. I have 5K. I'm not sure I can do 10K more in a month given my work load.

The girlfriend of one of the young nanoers at the diner stopped me and told me my hair was beautiful and was it burgundy? No one tells me my hair is nice. It's not. I have the worst hair but obviously she liked the color so that made me happy.
