I've been at this computer so long
Nov. 11th, 2013 12:38 amI think my eyes are bleeding and my butt has grown into the seat. I had a test to write for tomorrow. A test to start for Thursday (on material I've never done before so I have no old questions to fall back on). And I had to EDIT. Oh the edits. So unless you're tremendously tired of Me and my novel click on that and look about what's going on now.
The only other thing I did was sweep the carpet and learn something is wrong with my sweeper. I need to take it apart and see what's wrong. I did little else. I didn't even make the soup I wanted to make.
I also shouldn't have answered work email tonight since I answered one less professionally than I wanted to but once again, people just don't listen to me and make decisions for me. Sigh.
I need to call the dentist. I'm pretty sure I have an infected tooth or at least a highly inflamed gum. Diabetes bites (yes this in another gift from that disease, mouth infections)
Continuing last night's snippet. - “Sorry I'm late,” Wakefield said, coming in with two cups of coffee. He handed one to Killingsworth. “Wish I were a few minutes later so I could have missed Placid's train of thought, mostly because I can see his point.”
“We all can but that was a point I didn't need lodged in my head,” Killingsworth sighed. Evans
“Sorry, but don’t you always tell me to be a good detective, I have to think like a criminal?” Placid asked.
“I should have known you’d excel at it,” Killingsworth said, taking a deep drink of his coffee.
