I don't even know what happened
Nov. 15th, 2013 12:05 amSomehow my alarm #2 which is set for O' dark o'clock went off. I didn't turn it on that I know of and in fact the last TWO times I did set it it never went off and I assumed it had gone bad. Sigh because what I needed most on my day of extreme business was to be awaken three hours early.
I did talk to HR and the health insurance and am now the unofficial health care liaison. What it boils down to is the insurance NOT being transparent on what is tier three and not paid for. It's NOT easy to find on line and my point, which was well taken, was that if I have to call customer service, I should be told then and there why it's not being paid and what my alternatives are. Of course they claimed they don't pay for the really expensive tier three drugs to 'keep health costs down for everyone.' Bullshit, we all know it's to keep profits high for your CEO. Don't bullshit a bullshitter. So long story short, they promise to be more transparent. I promised to be less hostile and rabblerousing. I did learn that I should never have gotten nexium paid for. SHHHH instead I browbeat them into paying for it twice a day.
I did get my new glucometer and strips for the other one and returned the other new one which was still tier three. I did not however go to Athens. I keep getting low tire pressure on my TPMS but it can't tell me which tire and because the universe likes to tell me fuck you, my digital tire gauge is out of batteries (and I'm not even sure I can replace them) and my manual one is stuck so I've been using the service station's and frankly I think it's on crack. I've put air in my tires three times but every time it gets cold I get that (cold air does contract). I'm afraid there's a slow leak so I have to take it to the tire place on Monday and walk to work.
I got tagged by the kitten on the porch, an itty bitty cut that I forced to bleed like mad because in the back of my mind is 'rabies.' sigh. Taming them is not going well
Even though I took the test I gave today ahead of time I still missed there were 2 question #43s. Gah.
I think I have the scene done for the novel. I'm not sure it's what they want. THis is as close to actual romance as I've ever written and it wasn't helped that today someone is worried about her bi character. Rhys is bi. He has a wife and kids but elves don't see cheating in the same way we do. Either people will roll with it or my novel will get reviled.
Novel Snippet since I'm including this in the nano count - For two years since the explosion, it's been me and Mom as a team. She spent so many hours in the VA after my surgeries. I think there were twenty-five of them, maybe more.” He hunched up. “I don't want to talk about it.”
Rhys patted Aaron's hand. “Then don't. Tell me the happy stuff before the war.”
Aaron took a deep breath, steadying himself. “Okay. How about the time I met George Takei at a convention? It was only for a minute or two while I got his autograph, but I did get to tell him how much I admired his activism, and while I might want to be Spock, it was Sulu I had a crush on.” He grinned. “Even got my photo taken with him.”
declutter day 173 item tossed-Plum 2 piece pantsuit why kept -Wore it why tossed -I remember buying it in FL because it was on big time sale and I needed something professional (Florida thought this meant capris). It looks like I pulled the curtains off a bordello wall

So, you added another hat to the collection? Geeze, woman. You're going to either run the entire school or own it before the end of next year.
Your friend is playing with your alarm clock, that's my thought.

Date: 2013-11-15 06:27 pm (UTC)My tire pressure light has been on, too, and I thought it was the cold, but the guys at Brakemasters told me yesterday there's something wedged in there causing the slow leak. I have to get it fixed, but they at least put some air in there. :P
