I didn't have to work. I didn't do much sitting around and thinking about this remarkable man either. I admit it. I tried to clean and failed again. My sugar is so high. It's like moving in molasses. I did learn I hadn't typed in ANY of my Welsh paper (or if I had it's gone) so I started it. I made some progress. I think I broke the block in my brain on it. It's NOT a science paper. I don't have to make it 20 pages long. It's a cultural paper. I've never written one before. I barely know what do but I'm at least doing it.

a2zmom posted about the Pazz and Jop critics post in the Village Voice yesterday so I've been slowly making my way through the first thirty odd. Most of these artists i dont' know and I'm enjoyig most of them. You can find the list here Right now I'm listening to Ashley Monroe and I think wildrider might like her.

It's very country but I liked what I listened to.

I like country, so I'm good with that. She is part of the group "Pistol Annies" and their excellent album 'Hell on Heels" is also country. My understanding is she's kind of in the Miranda Lambert (who is also in Pistol Annies) mold and I'm a big fan of hers.

And AGREED on real places and foods... and smells... things you've touched... it's just a GOOD GOOD thing! (Though then I get hungry... or thinking of the smell of a cologne/person/soap and the feel of their clothes... horny.)
