A favor and a question

Also I forgot yesterday to say thank you to everyone for the well wishes though I wasn't all that clear. I'm not really depressed right now. I just wanted to share Wil's post but I DO have depression so it's always right around the corner. I do appreciate your support though!

Now that question, West Virginia friends, my satellite is NOT from COlumbus but rather Huntington/CHarleston and I'm getting all your political ads. Exactly when is this upcoming election over? I can't tell. The ads have been running since Nov. I'm not even sure what the election is for? It's bad enough I lose shows to Marshall sports but this is driving me nuts.

I'm not doing well today. My sugar has been mostly over 300 since before Christmas. It was 317 this morning when I woke up and when I got back from work it was well over 400. Sigh. I have no idea. I AM going to make an appt for an endocrinologist in COlumbus to get a second opinion in march.

Here's a strange thing. In that Village VOice Pazz and Jop music list, I listened to the first 100, to people I didn't know and found plenty of fun things. Now I'm going back to that first 100 and listening to ones I DID know and so far the only two I've liked were so unlikely, Black Sabbath and Nine Inch Nails (whom I've never liked).

Today is dad's birthday. I found these today. I think I should get him one. lichenberg figures

ELD sent me this for things for us to do when we're old (I have too many more days like today and I'm not getting to this point). This is just adorable

declutter day 191 item tossed -Expired antibiotic ointment why kept=For the obvious reasons why tossed-Couldn’t find it in the mess so it’s no good anymore and THIS is why I'm counting stuff from this shelf. I lost so much money because of my inability to throw stuff out.

Me, too. I'd love to see some highschool students getting involved (or college students!) with some local elderly homes and doing something like that for them, too.
