Thanks for all the concern, suggestions and well wishes. I appreciate it. My sugar did fall back to its usual high levels today so I feel pretty good.

And it was a pretty day today and I got a couple of reviews on my novel (thank you evil_little_dog for one of them). The one from the stranger was mixed but at least she gave me a decent star rating so I'm counting it as a win (even if she thought the romance was superficial...well she's probably right since this was urban fantasy first. I'm not letting it bug me).

I've sold 2 of the paperback version of Kept Tears and 59 ebook versions in less than a week, so I've already earned half my royalties. Nice.

I was bugged more by L today who was REALLY in Sheldon mode. When she threw a folder against the wall in my office (not because of me), I booked the fuck out of there to go enjoy my weekend. I knew she'd ask me to go out if I stayed and I was not in the mood for Sheldon. I wanted to stay happy.

I'm about to send a story in to Project Fierce so another step forward for me. Does anyone know anything about Less Than Three Press? I'm assuming it does publish erotica since I see many names I know publishing with them. I have an erotica that fit another open call of theirs but honestly from their submission guidelines I can't tell! Is it erotica or just romance. Head desk.


Hee, last year bay115 mentioned in passing an anime that is pretty much sneaking under everyone's radar sadly, Psycho-Pass. I went to Hulu (or funimation or crunchyroll, I don't remember now) and lost an entire three days mainlining this SF dystopia. (yeah, if I'm saying go watch a dystopia you know it has something going for it.). Every character is fleshed out (most of them tragically) and it is just very very good. So I mentioned this to one of the anime fans on my author's list and got yelled at for costing her writing days because she couldn't stop watching it. :-) And now they're saying there'll be another season. WOOT. this is one that sticks with you.

She does NOT handle stress or things NOT going her way well. This incident in many ways I don't blame her. I LOATHE when our secretary refuses to say 'sorry, I messed up' and instead blames US for whatever it is and that's part of what happened. That said I didn't want to go to the winery for endless bitching and tears.

I'm content enough.

I mean it's not much in the grand scheme of book sales but it's actually faster than I expected being a nobody.

That is the one good thing about netflix I have new stuff to watch well old stuff for the most part but new to me. Damn anime is SO expensive to get but at least there are legit places online to stream it
