I got my story sent in for Love's Landscape. I'm really happy with how it turned out given how little time I had. I loved those characters and they were amazingly easy to write. I'm not even sure I whined once I don't know what to do with them (well majorly whined at any rate). I didn't even realize they will be editing it (thank god). Thanks so very much to evil_little_dog and drummerdancer for your help and to all the Athens Nanos writers.

Also my Project Fierce story is under edits too. I'm pretty proud of that one too.

Speaking of the Athens nano authors, we got together to celebrate an after party for camp nano. A couple of us went to Jackie O's. We needed beer. Bad move. It's also the second to last day for OU. It was PACKED. I had to eat outside. The service was lousy but the reuben was good until elm seeds blew into it. I hate eating outside. The Dark Apparition Stout was nearly 11% alcohol and was a tad more bitter than I liked. And that was probably still better than the diner. Oh well.

Sweet cover! You got a good artist there. Try to keep him around. It helps to have a certain "look" to go with all you books.

As to the Diner vs Jackie-O's, there's going to be much more room at the inn, so to speak, once graduation is over and summer session starts. Look for it to be crowded again come September when the session starts back up. Buzz me if you want to do a trip to J-O's before then.

Again, congrats on the stories and the cover. Looking forward to Chapter 12 on ours.

Yes no students will be SO nice. I may just do that. I'm sure we'll get together sans the student contingent in a week or two.

Oh wow. That cover looks awesome! Very nice artwork.

I kind of miss doing nano, but I wish it wasn't in November. I really don't have time in November for any extra projects. By that time I'm already working high speed to complete gifts for the holidays. Last year I fell woefully behind on them even forgoing the Nanowrimo project.

that's why it's in April and in July as well now under the name Camp Nano. The novella I just completed was in April (that's not this one with the lovely cover).

Because yeah, November could only have been selected by a man who did nothing to get ready for the holidays.

Oooh! I did not know that. I thought when you were posting about camp near know that it was some kind of NaNoWriMo training thing. When do they start it? I may try for that next year. I could have done that this year and our would have been better for my deeply sprained, broken wrist with severe injury induced tendonitis. Instead I was still struggling to finish my crochet commissions. Probably not the best choice, but it's finally almost healed and all my commissions are done for the moment.

no it's nano sponsored and you can set your own goal instead of the 50K (I chose half that). They started it about 4 years ago. It'll run again this July.
