my parents' 49th anniversary today

With Mom's drop foot still getting no better they didn't do much. They did go out to dinner and watched the recording of their 25 anniversary trip to Yellowstone.

I took myself out to dinner at a favorite stromboli place. I made the mistake of telling mom I had to stop at the grocery store on the way. I had to buy so much stuff. Again.

I'm struggling to get the parasitology class ready. It's mostly there.

I'm struggling harder to edit Soldiers of the Sun I want to at least get evil_little_dog and silvrethorn's edits in before my surgery but I'm at the stage of 'it sucks and I don't want to look at it.

I wish I could find my writing motivation.

I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow. After work. Before lunch? Maybe. We'll see. Mom will probably want to go somewhere.

Mom and I went even though she's going away for the weekend. I got mangoes, oranges, apples, lunch meat, tomatoes, and a couple of cereal boxes.
