One of my favorite holidays, St. Paddy's day. It's supposed to snow another 6 inches. I think I'll just buy a 6 pack and celebrate by myself. Have a nice holiday all.

Check out the B&B I want to go to. They have half off specials. I'm so hoping I can get one (so it'll be lik 50-60 dollars which hell I can't stay at the econolodge on the east side that always smells like pee for that price) It's a literary B&B, Canterbury Inn.

Unsung Heros - Today, it'll be the archivists who hunt down good stories to share with others. There is nothing quite like being approached by someone who says, I love your story. Can I archive it? It's like wow, really? You liked it that much. Yes, yes, please do. Just like [livejournal.com profile] lea2004 did this month with one of my stories and you can look at that here, Reborn Desires. And I've been lucky enough to be so honored many times. You can look at our link pages to see a ton of sites we think are really cool and most have asked for my fic or [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog's or Chris' work. Head for Geek Girlz R Us

Thank You!

Archiving is great. It can be a pain in the ass when all the html-ing occurs, but it's so gratifying to see all the stories up there! :D

*is nostalgic*

Oh I can't even imagine doing the html-ing. But I appreciated that you were willing to do so

What a very cool B&B looks like it will be a great mini vacation for you!

And yes the archivists need recognition. I can only imagine how difficult it is.

It's not a bed and breakfast but it is a 1920s hotel that's haunted INSIDE a psychic commune. I lived a block frmo here for 3 years

Your reference to the Canterbury Inn was very interesting to me, because I only live about six miles from Canterbury.

The Inn looks like it could be fun, Dana. I'm sure you'll have a great time!

You live six miles from Canterbury? Now that's just cool. If I don't get snowed in I hope to have fun.

Since when did you let a little snow stop you?

Those three lazy things? I'd be lucky if they mushed me to the end of the road let alone 300 miles downstate :-)

I love the Canterbury Inn! I've never stayed there, but I love the bookstore and coffee shop. You're gonna make me homesick for Madison.

I'm making ME homesick for Madison. I used to hang in the bookstore/coffee shop all the time too.

Yours?

I'm not at home, but

Characters/Pairings you want the story to focus in: Spike/Dru,
Characters/Pairings you want in the story too: Dru/Angelus, doesn't have to be much, just one good quality moment between the too of them focusing on the dynamics of their relationship and maybe even the way this affects the Spike/Dru dynamic.
Things you want: Set back in the day, some time after 1880 but before Angelus got a soul, so 1880 - 1898.
Things you don't want: No Fluff please, angst is good, dark/horror etc. is great:)
Extras: NC-17 and I love darkfic and angst and a bit of smut:)

I think that request is yours. If so: http://www.livejournal.com/users/vampedvixen/202423.html

If not, I'm sure it's a good read. *wink*
