A day at the Lake
Aug. 14th, 2014 09:33 pmBut before that, some good news. Brother measured how far I could raise my arm overhead. I got to 140 degrees with gravity helping (i.e. on my back). 180 is normal so I'm ahead of the curve.
Lucky Uncle has a lake house on hillbilly cove in Lake Berlin, OH so we went down there for a leisurely day of puttering around the lake. It was very nice. I'm a lake person. I can live without a beach but I love living on lakes. I had Lake Erie for a back yard for 4 years.
One of their neighbors moved and the house is for sale right on the water for an affordable price (though its small) I'm wondering if there is any jobs at the nearby college....
Tonight it's going down to the 40s, so cool for August but I'm not complaining.
So have a bunch of picspam.
My parents and Lucky Uncle and his wife in Hillbilly Cove (she served margaritas in red Solo cups on 'wine stems.'
We opened the canopy and found this little fellow hiding out.

This is MY cabin. This old fishing cabin has been slowly sliding into the lake for years. Several years back, I swam over to it and went poking around.

And not lake but here's grandma and some of your cards.

Here is the morning glory from a couple weeks back.

Here it is this morning. We have named her Audry 2

Here is Audry eating me.

Date: 2014-08-15 02:19 am (UTC)Love those morning glories! Technically they're illegal in Phoenix (something about them choking the cotton crop), but we think there's one growing in our side yard.
