First off, how the hell did that happen? Secondly WHY was it Eighty damn degrees here? Did I move to Florida and not realize it. But at least we've had our third sunny day in a row. I don't mind the grey actually but it rained nearly every day for 3 weeks. That gets old (unless you're a plant)

So I had my Ob/gyn yearly. She was unimpressed with my back which naturally was acting right in the presence of medical help (and less so now). She agrees with me, the lump in the right axillary is a lymph node and nothing to worry about (I have my boob squish on friday). I did ask her to find my x-rays last week for me.

It wasn't a fracture or an ossicle bothering me in my elbow. It's a bone tumor. It's a benign one, an enostosis or hamartoma. In lay man's terms (Used by the lazy radiologist) a 'bone island.' It's just compact bone forming in the spongy bone. It probably got bruised when I fell on it.

I'm fighting a losing battle against Japanese beetles infesting my ceiling fan in the living room. SO GROSS.

I forgot to mention I did like last week's Dr. Who but not as much as the Orient Express one. Mom has finally accepted him too. It helps to have episodes that don't utterly blow.

I thought I NEED these glow in the dark solar system panties Then I thought, who in the fuck is going to see them besides the cat who'll just steal them any how? Followed by...that would be one big-ass solar system.

Yuck for a bone tumor. :-(

I had trouble with the last Doctor Who episode. Fast-growing flame-retardant trees that somehow protect everyone from solar flares? Please just do stuff and stop trying to make it sound scientific. It just hurts. Not nearly as badly as "Kill the Moon," which I think is one of the worst Doctor Who episodes ever, but not good. I can't suspend that much disbelief. I think it's because they are trying to make these things make sense, and they don't. If you are going to have a giant space whale, say there are giant space whales and don't explain them. (I could take that storyline because they didn't try to explain how whales can survive in space. Leave the crazy science to the imagination!)

yeah it hurts

Honestly as a scientist, I was willing to go with it. They were leaps and bounds less painful than 90% of capaldi's doctor so far

I normally love a glow in the dark solar system, but my first thoughts on the panties are:
1. aren't glow in the dark chemicals kind of dangerous, esp long term and right next to your skin?
2. would they show through pants in a dark area? (you know you'd end up wearing them out at some point because they would be your only clean undies - or only clean black ones)

and you and I have the same weather right now - what a weird country...

These ones are safe. They're used in yarn a lot now actually. (or at least they say they're safe)

I figure they wouldn't glow under clothes because they've been in a dark door and went directlyunder clothes. I am however learning my rose patterned bra might not have been my best bet (You can see the red roses)
