I've never read Howl's Moving Castle but I loved the movie.

This is the screen cap 'manga' version. the actual book is worth the read but it is VERY different from the movie. I love them both.

I like most of DWJ's work (though not the sequel to Howl, curiously enough)

I've seen "Howl's Moving Castle" a few times, but haven't read it yet -- I just got it and it's in my Kindle, waiting for me to finish with G RR Martin's tomes.

I am so envious of your ability to work, play, write, post to your journal, AND read as much as you do -- I'm a total slug by comparison...

As I said to [livejournal.com profile] a2zmom the book and movie are two completely different beasts. I liked them both very much though Miyazki's rendition is far afield from the source but so well done, I still liked it. It's worth reading.

I figure I get so much done because it takes the place of having a partner to share a life with. Sometimes I would willing trade one for the other (though the way dad was acting today I'm glad I've been solo most mylife)

I expect I'll like the book, when I get to it.

Well, maybe. I suspect I may just be lazy. :)
