One Job Interview down
Apr. 29th, 2004 04:23 pmOne to go. The one in Jacksonville went okay. If nothing else I now know what not to say and what TO say. The administrators were far easier on me than the other teachers. They gave me some classroom management tips. There are a ton of interviewees for this position (6 today alone) so I'm not too hopeful. However it was a good learning exercise for my next interview in Kansas. And if by some off chance I get the Jacksonville one, it's in a very nice area by a large body of water (not ocean, it's in West Jax not east). And I learned all this time that I should have been driving to Daytona Beach to work instead of Orlando. Left same hour in the day (i.e. rush hour) and there wasn't a lick of traffic heading north unlike the gridlock I deal with.
In fannish news, Angel is still being taped by me so I'll see it in the sumemr if ever. Did watch Smallville. I liked the revelations of Lex. Somehow I doubt Lionel would ever have loved him regardless if he knew the truth or not (and how could he not have suspected it). The Clark/Lex friendship chemistry seems a bit off and it's not just the strain written into the show. But OOOOooooo, Clark in those tight red bicycle pants. Slobber.
Now me actually getting my Buffy/Lindsey story done on time looks very very grim.
