First Day Back

It's pretty smooth sailing when you only have one class on Monday. However, I AM annoyed that everyone but me has only 4 days a week and I'm still stuck with 5. I did find someone to cover my friday lab so I feel much better.

Well until I redid the research summary for the Ohio Academy of Science who wanted all this info but then it was more than 250 words and 2 pages (only allowed to be one). God was fixing that hard. Cross your fingers for me everyone. I'm going to be so embarrassed if I'm the only one who gets rejected from my school.

You know that TENS unit I had to give back because my insurance was a bit of a dick? Well I just got a letter from them saying someone stole a laptop and all my information was in that laptop...no social security or anything but still.

And then I saw someone had opened my Capitol One bill and removed the return envelope and taped it shut. Now i need to monitor that. And this was kept at the Post Office because it was handed to me with all my mail today (including five books. Like I needed five but three of which I won!)

Here's Grandma’s obit My brother is right. She's going to haunt her son for the pic he sent in (hair not done etc) but a different picture from the 30s came up when I put this on FB so who knows what someone will see.

For reasons I can't even guess at I couldn't sleep last night. Not anxious or sad or anything, just awake. Mostly my brain was thinking on those reading challenges going 'wonder if I have any Qs' to the point that at 3 in the morning I was out there lying out my next 5 reads (now modified to accommodate the books I won that arrived today). Brain, you go to sleep tonight (I'm still wired. I feel it. I'm not even drinking caffeine at night this semester because of my whackadoodle work schedule).

Your grandma was still making parish meals at 95? wow, that's impressive.

Yep she was. My uncle on my dad's side was still selling used cars at 94. Both sides of the family live for nearly forever. (my two grandfathers being the exceptions)

Yay for books and cookies. Boo to brain not sleeping. Not that mine's been much better these last two nights. Even going to bed a little earlier didn't help me; I woke up and figured it was time to get up - and nooooo, it was hours before my alarm. *head desk*
