I thought this would amuse some of my warm-weather friends. It's been about 60 here in Wisconsin for the last few days. Yesterday in class half my students showed up in shorts and sandles. I wore a Hawaiian shirt and the lightest slacks I own. I almost wore a skirt but I can't wear sandles with my foot right now.

And this came in the mail this morning from my mom.

Korey??. Iguess I will now have to concede to your sense of fashion. God Help me.

The suit in question is tweed but the hem of the jacket, cuffs and skirt is all ragged undone fabric. MOm hated it. I loved it. (and really I have a STRANGE sense of fashion) It was a moot point. Even on half price sale it was close to 500$.

Well, the weather isn't exactly great right about now(it rained so much on Sunday the roads flooded), the past two weeks were a different story, it was lovely but not hot or anything. ^-^

The summer is crazy though, most nights it's impossible to sleep with the heat and in the days we usually escape to a mall or somewhere else airconditioned.

Heat.... ahhhh heat. we're at 84 for a high today... and it's only gonna get worse. Oh but wait... today in West Texas the winds are 40 to 50 mph. No joke... ask Kristi. The trees are all swaying, I had to bring the big trash can in from the back porch cause it was all rolling around our back yard slamming against the fence. lol Go us and our fun weather. Really I'm just waiting for the rain to come. *looks at clear skies forcast* grrr. I like to go outside and play in the rain when the temp is this high. Its full of fantabulous fun.

The suit sounds really really cute. I'm ina tank top and shorts right now. But am I going outside? No way... I'd get blown away. :)
