I got my CYA story done! Expect it later tonight.

For those of you who remember (or care) there's a rather large above ground pool on my property that the owner for reasons best known to himself dumped in some fancy goldfish. Some of them were very lovely so I took to feeding the greedy creatures and naming them. No one believed me they'd live through the winter (though they've been here for many more years than I have). Well I went to check on them on monday but the ice was still about two feet deep (or more I couldn't reach under it.) Well after another week of 60 degree weather, the ice has retracted enough so there's about a hand's span between the pool sides as the ice.

Ever hopeful I went out with a rock to break ice if need be and the food can. The rock wasn't needed so I thumped on the side of the pool like I do when it's feeding time and there she came. First up, my little white fish with blue eyes, Dawn. SHe was right there and eating like there hasn't been 4 months and several feet of ice since she's seen me last. Neat.

So, I know Ihave two computer problems. I need to replace the mouse. And YIM is now barely working at all. It crashes it hangs things up etc etc. But i kinda like wasting time having it. SO I pull it off and try to redownload it. After it faulting out three times over the course of the day mid down load I give up and simply hit systems restore to get it back. A bad program is better than none.

I didn't know goldfish could do that, that is cool. Although they're often hardy little buggers, I had mine for about 12 years before he finally shuffled of to that big glass tank in the sky, he survived about three moves, and the occasionaly trip through the houseing estate I lived on as a kid in a carrier bag when I took him to my Gran's.

I didn't know it either. I'm not a fish person but I'm considering spooning up some of the smaller ones and taking them with me when i go
