As the day wore on

I went from feeling headachy and worn out to cold to thinking I was sick to thinking OMG Invokana poisoned me (because I have an odd anxiety about being accidentally poisoned). Whatever it is, I've been a lump today.

I did get the eggs dyeing, some in turmeric (I'm thinking this will be a waste) and some in red cabbage.

I turned the red cabbage into rotkraut for tomorrow's dinner.

To make the parents happy I go to Easter service. I decided to go tonight because for the first time they had a 7 pm one. The other is the vigil (which lasts 4 hours) or the daybreak one. But when I got there no one was there. Thanks. So I'm listening to the complete rosary done as Gregorian chant and calling it close enough (how to tell if you were raised Catholic....)

I went to Arch and Eddie's for dinner and a beer ahead of time. Holy crap was it crowded. I had to eat at the bar but it was so nice. I didn't need to know that the bar stools were so comfortable. I'm already halfway to being a permanent resident there.

Something freaky happened this morning. I was talking with 0_mother_0 about living with chronic pain. Also, I'm doing Osho's 21 day meditation challenge. I just looked up at the browser and the new meditation is open...but I was NOT even in the email that has the link to that. And the meditation is about conquering pain. I don't even know what to make of that.

Arch and Eddie's (named for the owners' cat and dog) is a really cool place. If I lived in Jackson, it would be like Norm coming into the bar for me.

Sad thing. I made a great salad today with unusual lettuces, red peppers, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and a sweet-sour dressing. There's enough left over for my supper.
