Awards!

As if to make up for yesterday's craptacular-ness, I start off today with awards.

The first is from one of my yahoogroups general BtVS/AtS fic lists, Sunnydale Writers, were I won the list mom's fanfic of the month choice for Boogie Nights, which is a Spike/Dru ficlet. It's someone's birthday and how better to celebrate than eating a fly-by-night porn crew and filming your own naughty NC-17 fun?   

And thank you everyone who voted for me at the Fade to Black awards (which are taking nominations for extreme dark fic). I won best Gore for Dance with the Devil in the Pale Moonlight, for my Angelus/Darla/Holtz historical (which yes is NC-17 for sex and gory violence).    

And I took runner up in the Crack that Whip category for best B&D/S&M for A Storm of Roses my alternative to Origins where Connor is an art student involved with a Rom girl from Jenny's clan.  

As always, aren't they so cool (and I used that picture of S/D in the story actually, it was the impetus for the story)

congratulations, as always on the awards!

I'm curious about the awards for fics --- are there special awards for B/A, Connor, etc. fics? I know there are for S/B fics....

There are general ones which are the ones I usually aim for. I've never seen any specific for Connor. However B/A, C/A, B/S all have multiple ones dedicated to just them. I also know of ones specific for Angel, SPike, Giles and WIllow (and I can't imagine that Buffy doesn't have her own too) I join into the pairing and character specfic ones less because I'm more non-ship ensemble in my writing. The Dark awards and Fade to Black are genre specfic and there are those for humor only and slash only as well

So, is there a central Website that lists the various awards and provides links to all the winning stories? Or do I just have to find each award site, then check it for links to the winning stories?

Sorry to be a pain about this, but I'm curious.

it's more the latter but there ARE some centralized ones like the Awards Union. The only problem with this is that a lot of them fade away fast leaving nothing but broken links
