Even MORE awards

I'm just having a very good day for awards. This time I picked up a few Angel's Cookie awards.

A Most Stormy Life, the first in the Chiascuro series (Storm of Roses that just picked up a Fade to Black award is the second, and the drabble I just did for goddess_loki  goes with this AR), a story of Connor regaining his memories, won for best POV  

Interlude of Fireworks - Twister, the infamous Twister fic, won for best humor and runner up for best quote     

And the light hearted Just a Devil with Love to Spare, Buffy and Angel in Vegas for Connor's birthday story took runner up for fluff    

And on a non-writing front half my Flist knows I very much wanted to go to NYC to see Slag Heap, a play about male prostitutes turned kinky porn stars (yeah I know lovely stuff) because Vincent Kartheiser was playing the lead. Well, the reviews were pretty unanimous, the play's not so hot but VK was far too good for the production. I still wanted to go since I haven't been to NYC since I moved away from there but work isn't going to allow that. And then swmbo gets to go (has a nice little blurb with the promise of a more indepth writer up, pokes with stick). VK is totally naked for part of the second act. Does anyone know HOW much I want to see that? Was also assured he has flawless beautiful skin. Sigh.

Sadly the play ends before the semester does. Mom was willing to come with. I actually have lots of friends in NYC area including one who works for the company putting the play on.

yea, I saw the crappy reviews too, boy needs a better agent, he always seems toend up in these crappy productions that don't do much to advance his career, I know he prefers to be low key, but there's low key and there's crap.

yes I know what you mean. He keeps picking the same kind of role. LIke I said, unless he's playing one of the cops or the brother of the murder victim, I know I'll be highly disappointed in Alpha Dog (and I despise that title. It makes the little creep it's based on sound important rather than the loser he is)

Congratulations on your wins. I have got to get caught up on my fic reading. I'm mostly a Spike gal (so I adore your New York Spike and Dru) but I read everything you write sooner or later. Gonna have scootch up the sooner.
