In better news Kroger's had a Crabbie’s Ginger Beer in their build your own 6 pack and I'm pretty sure this is what angels drink. It's sweet without being overpowering. It has a nice bite without being painful. I'm sure the sugar is killing me. It's like alcoholic ginger ale. Yum. The 200 years of experience shows.

I need this It's perfect for my steampunk cosplay.

Speaking of which the dress and corset got here. The dress is totally wrong but I don't care. It was the corset I wanted. The dress is far too short (like mid-thigh but I'm long waisted so it borders on ass-showing for me) and it's too big with armholes halfway to my waist. The corset on the other hand fits great. It gives the look I want without being tight and confining. Yeah it's roses but I can live with that.


Day 8 of the self love meme was nail art. I tried water marbling again but I think I'm so over that. It takes a lot of paint and it came out horrid. I couldn't figure out how deep red and white ended up GREY. I removed that and just tried with the red and found out why. It was a new one from Wet and Wild and the first coats were blackish with a hint of red, absolutely ugly. It took several coats to get the pretty color in the bottle. I jammed on some nail decals that I'm about 98% sure date to 1986. No I have no idea why I have them STILL. They are so big they would only have fit on those super-long Lee Press On nails I had for my role in Auntie Mame.

me too so for 40 bucks I have the corset that is workable if not the one of my dreams and an ugly little black dress that I can probably alter to be better (like take in the arm holes and add a fringe or lace border on the bottom so less of my ugly varicose ridden thighs are showing

I'll have to find that ginger beer! (Actually BEER ginger beer!) You might want to look for "Not Your Father's Root Beer," which is basically alcoholic root beer. Also very yummy.
