Holy Crap what a Monday Monday

I woke up feeling exhausted and hung over like I had been out drinking all night instead of watching Shakespeare. (a sign of aging?). I think part of it was from something I didn't tell you yesterday. A friend of mine left the university. Every day I feel like I'm on a sinking ship. I was very sad and stressed last night about that.

I could barely motivate through getting dressed and going out in the rain (Omg WHY more rain?). I was going to double check the test on my flashdrive and forgot. I got down the school and for the first time ever...the test didn't save. I had to fly back home and email it to the secretary to give for me if I didn't get back in time. At least it gave me time to pick up my office keys which I forgot the first time down there.

I barely get home in time (after breaking the news to the chair of the dept about the above mentioned friend. I thought she knew and she was kinda shocked and upset too) to change and run to Athens to meet with another friend to work on my website. It DELUGED again. I couldn't even see, driving up the road at 40 mph with my hazards on. head desk.

It was nice to see my friends again and he's got the same crap going on as I do with the stomach. Sigh. At least the website is going to go up and it'll be in the hands of someone who knows what's going on. So there, that's my good news.

Then the hot water tank tripped out again so another cold shower for me

Also I got the colored version of my cover. I want a few tweaks then it'll be good.

And here's a question for everyone. In Blood Red Roulette, I originally had Arrigo give Luc a print out of Eleni's picture to warn him but Luc's brother destroys it. Luc went to ask for another copy and got distracted by sex.

In the short version that worked. However, now that it's stretched out I'm not so sure it does. They do have at least one other date and there is a scene where Luc talks to Arrigo after a friend was killed (Arrigo's friend) which was hectic.

My question is does it make sense that Luc doesn't ask again for the picture? He's not sure he takes Arrigo seriously (he thinks it's just a stalker ex-girlfriend). Or should I have him more injured when he next sees Eleni. He does see her once in the bar and at the diner but this could be before he gets the picture a second time. When he goes away with her he has a severe concussion which could explain away why he goes with her. Thoughts? Thanks

I didn't get to Day 26 of the meme but have my day 27, my dream vacation: It's a trip around the world. I'd like to start in Canada, Nova Scotia then head to Ireland/England/Scotland/Wales for a while before heading into Italy/France/Greece/Germany before going out to New Zealand and Australia. I'll go into British Columbia then enter the States via Hawaii. Yep, that's my dream.

Hmmm. Is Luc unconscious when Elina attacks him? Why doesn't he see her then? Yeah, this is kind of a pickle, especially since she wants Arrigo to know what she's doing. Granted, she didn't expect Luc to survive.

More rain, huh? We had a good t-storm as I was going to bed night before last.

He's conscious and he sees her. He goes with her to get away from dad. He doesn't know who she is. No, she hoped Luc would survive. She thinks Arrigo hates vampires and would hate Luc being one.

I'm sorry your friend left where you work. I know exactly how that feels. I was very upset when my friend left. Maybe it was a good thing, cuz I would up getting promoted last year.

I'm thinking mild concussion combined with "hey the hot guy I like is hanging with me & we're talking dates" is probably what made him forget. Besides, who wants to remember unpleasantness, when pleasure is there talking to you? ;p

You dream vaycay sounds like fun!! I'd love to visit Europe & Asia & then a trip down south Australia & New Zealand! :D
