Just how old do I look?!?

Mom and I went to the casino tonight because I had another buy one get one free meal. today IS senior citizen pricing on the dinner and they gave it to ME! Parrt of me was going WAAAAH! Part of me was like whoo hoo 5$ off! Logically they saw mom and gave the discount to her but damn, so ego bruising. Good food though.

The bartenders are this casino are THIS close to me writing a letter to the boss (I know who that is thanks to Lucky Uncle) every woman I know who goes there has the same issue. The bartenders are almost exclusively female. They don't want to wait on women (figuring I suspect that they can flirt big tips from the guys). I asked for the special, that Not Your Father's Root beer stuff and she said 'I'm out, they're bringing it up. Come back in 10 min.' I did and didn't even get to the bar when she snarled, 'we're out.' So we went to the buffet and sure enough they could get it for me no problem.

I had terrible luck at the slots until the very last one. I won back everything i had lost. I took it and ran...right into Lucky Uncle and my aunt. I didn't even know they were there but I said to mom at dinner 'i think they're here.' And so they were. I even got to swing past Michael's to get some lace to make a hat band for my hat.

Also I volunteered to act in a steampunk mystery at the library. This should be fun.

Why am I not surprised women can't get served by women? Geeze, don't they realize we appreciate attentive cute bartenders of either sex? Especially that attentive part.

Then management needs to know about it. Everyone should write to the casino & let them know about the bad service. They want to make money & annoying 1/2 the clientele is bad for business.
