how I can have my writing mojo in front of a TV but the moment I get in this task chair it disappears entirely? Sigh. I'm running out of time on the SImmer story. It needs to get moving.

In sad news, the man who sculpted the Mothman statue died today.

It's a toss up which show had the stupider, less believable finale. The Whispers or Rizzoli & Isles. dear god. If you see me writing something that dumb where it looks like my characters had to be lobotomized to make this thing happen yell at me.

Speaking of which I need to get back to my vampires too and make sure it looks like Arrigo actually cares about Luc and get simmer moving. Probably needs more eyes on that one. At least evil_little_dog lived in Cassadaga so that's helpful. (I did too but unlike me she liked FL and didn't try to purge it from the memory banks)

I was thinking of something last night about Simmer and now I'm not sure what it was. It was something about the Camp Proper and how the Purple Rose isn't part of the Camp Proper and something you and I'd been talking about pinged my memory. Alas, that was last night and I've slept since then.

But not to fear! I wrote 5 short little pieces for my September card at allbingo! I'm waiting for my friend Kat to look them over as I've borrow Amber for a couple of them. I'll have them up next week, since she won't get them until Tuesday. So probably Wednesday they'll be up. They're all between 200 to 380 words. So easy to dash off. They were kinda like your piece with Tenaldi. Little vignettes to set a mood, I guess. It was a lil hard to figure out, but apparently whatever moves you works. :D

I have that sort of problem too- 'yeah, I'm gonna write!' while I'm doing something else and then....eh, maybe not. Sometimes I try to jot a few notes at least while I'm involved in that other activity (I doodle a lot while I watch TV, so I usually have paper handy).

I saw a sketch I did of Luc in my paper the other day for you and scanned it and now...I can't seem to find it? I'm going to dig it up today one way or another for you.
