Angel – Taste Treat  S 2
 
If Buffy only knew…but hell she was the one who put a vampire in charge of making sure the hospital actually got the blood shipment. What did she expect? Yes, he helped her take care of the vampires trying to steal it but did she really think he could resist?
 
Angel delivered the blood inside, minus several bags of A+, it was the most common, the least missed. In his apartment, he guzzled down one. It didn’t matter it had chemicals in it; it tasted so good. Licking his lips, he felt the guilt that always came with illicit pleasure.

 

 

Giles S 4  - Recapturing Youth
 
It was a rare occasion that he indulged in his guilty pleasures but tonight was one ot them. He had slipped on his gold loop earring and tossed on an old leather coat after spending a long time in front of the mirror pretending he wasn’t losing his hair.
 
His smile was young and charming and the earring alone erased some years from his heart. The smoky scotch sitting on the floor by his chair eased the butterflies in his stomach and his guitar felt like it had never left his hands. Open mike night, what more could he ask for?
 

 

Spike/ Dawn – S 5   Forging Family
 
He knew it was all wrong, letting her come over after school but he couldn’t help it. Oh, he would feign offense when she told him that he wasn’t threatening and he knew he should kill her for that. He blamed the chip for letting her live but deep down Spike knew that was a lie. He loved Dawn’s visits.
 
Dawn made him feel wanted, like he was really part of the group. Spike was never a loner and he needed that. She was the sister he never had and damn it, he loved her. Buffy would kill him for it.
 

Holtz/Connor – in Quor-Toth – Spring time
 
Holtz couldn’t divest himself of feelings of guilt. He shouldn’t feel content and happy and yet he was. When had disgust for a creature born of two vampires turned to love? Had it been those wide infant eyes? The unconditional love and need? Did it matter?
 
Holtz watched Steven romp bare-bottomed and wild with a yearling’s glee at  kicking the puffy seeding flowers making clouds of fluff.  At least they couldn’t hurt him and he could pretend this was his son playing in dandelions. Only this son would soon be too strong to handle, Holtz sensed it and planned to use it.

 

Connor  - in Quor-Toth  Earning a Rep
 
Father always said it was wrong to feel pleasure at hurting something but Steven couldn’t help it. He thrilled to the power in his body and there was a rush like nothing else he had experienced when he won in a fight.
 
Steven no longer fought to protect himself and Father. No, he hunted. He sought to prove himself. He wore the trophies of his successes around his neck. He accepted the pain of loss
 
There they were, slukhs. Steven grinned ferally. He couldn’t wait to kill them. They had even given him a name. The Destroyer, could he be more proud?

Pretty drabbles :D And the Spike/Dawn one made me nostalgic for the old days of Buffy, I had loved the episodes where she went to his crypt and he told her stories.
