Yesterday I had a message to call for my doctor's appt. SO I did but no one knows who called. They THINK it's the automated system but that doesn't help if you see multiple doctors at that clinic. Didn't find out who wanted me to see them. Eye roll.

I got up to Kroger's today. Sunday ended their 'tour of Italy.' Here's the weird thing, they didn't even let the specialty items get old. They had ALL the imported meat and cheese on special. Prosciutto not for the usual 5$ a pack. 1.50. I bought it ALL. Cleared the damn shelf. That stupid, delicious chestnut wrapped cheese I bought for 8$ last week? two bucks.I bought twelve dollars worth. Parmesan cheese marked good til Feb. 2016. 1.50 a bag. Cleared them out to. Fuck sharing. I hoard food on my best day. Fantastic imported Italian food? This is why I have a freezer.


I thought my sugar was sky high because I ate chocolate, maple syrup candy, cotton candy, frosted mini wheats (it's been a bad week after all) and cider AND raman noodles but i'm dizzy because it's low. I can't even imagine why. And what if I hadn't ate like an idiot? Would I be here typing this. I really really need to make out my will. Getting too old to not have one.

I don't know why I like Scream Queens. Maybe it's the absolute homage to 80s horror flicks complete with music. They're doing a good job with the vacuous sorority girls (imagine Cordelia and the Cordettes faced with what they consider a terrible pledge crew of non-perfect, non-Caucasian girls. Heck, Charisma is ON the show). It's stupid and doing it very well. I can't imagine this will be an ongoing series though.

Aldi's had salted-caramel flavored everything this past week. Mom and I each bought the tub o'yogurt and I bought the cheese. I haven't tried it yet because it's crying for some crisp apples to go with. The cheese, I mean. I have a tub o' yogurt open so I can't have the other yet.

So you don't know who you're supposed to see and you don't have an appointment and...

I should have checked the last of the Tour of Italy stuff (our Fry's, it's owned by Kroger, they had the same special) when I stopped this morning. Foolishly, I just bought what I stopped for... (that almost never happens).

I like Scream Queens, too. It's silly and fun.

I haven't heard what the plan is for it -- but it would be BETTER if it's just a "mini-series" (or even just a one-season deal). It would be ridiculous to try and make it last past one season unless they did something like "Fargo" and make each season basically an entirely new show.

Ah is that what Fargo did? American Horror does the same thing. And yes that's the only way this could possibly work. Shorter is better with something like this but it is fun at any rate. Some of the new shows aren't half bad this year. It just occured to me I forgot about Heroes already...

Yes, Fargo last season was a fully intact single series. This season takes place in the same universe, about 20 years earlier. I haven't watched the first episode yet (they will have to bring their A game to come CLOSE to how awesome that show was last year).

I still have to watch some American Horror Story. I keep meaning to, but haven't gotten around to it yet (binge, baby).

I'm watching "Heroes Reborn," but I'm doing so with a big grain of salt. I'm torn between "Well, it's really good so far... but so was the original first season." I'm not expecting it to last, in other words. I am curious how they're going to actually have killed Claire (other than the actress making it big in another show) -- at least one of the characters said, "But Claire couldn't be killed!" At least they realize it this time, instead of just running over their own rules.

I never watched it past the first episode so I can't say about Fargo

Honestly never actually liked American Horror either.

I missed two of the five episodes but yes I was wondering how Claire was going to be killed. My problem is this is pretty much the exact story line that made me stop reading the X-Men

Fargo was brilliant television. Martin Freeman was astounding (and deserved that Emmy).

Oh, it's the same-old, same-old story; used in X-Men, used in Harry Potter, etc., etc. It all depends on how they tell it.
