Today sucked fairly hard too. The spin off storms from that horrible, scary hurricane gave me such violent headaches I spent the morning throwing up. And with a good chunk of memory loss but more on that later.

In case I wasn't entirely clear yesterday, I DID have plans to go with my friends. It wasn't like I was sitting around hoping to be asked. Face to face meetings, emails, that sort of thing. We were trying to rent the freaking school van for it because they were also taking some English lit students and if we couldn't do that, then dividing up the driving. Did anyone apologize to me today? No, not one bit. Brag a lot about how fun it was though.

As for today, I was in a haze really unable to do anything to nearly one. That's when I remembered that I saw a job back home last night when I was looking to get the fuck out of this place. I didn't even remember when I spoke to my parents that morning. I had to call them back. I am right now revamping my stuff for this. It's terrifying really. Change is sometimes when it's this major. But it's a chance I need to take. I still worry about the whole research thing. I'm working on that now. I hate getting letters of rec too. I mean what good are they really? It's not like I'm going to ask people who don't like me.

So my parents call back later. Mom's already found a house for me and that it's too expensive to rent anywhere near the college (average price around, 2400 because you pay by room so you get 4 students splitting the rent). I'm like slow down already. Then had dad yell at me for not having my CV up to date and instantly ready. I keep explaining, it's not like where he needed his every time the engineering company got a new job and it IS update except for what I did this year and whatever. 'You do all that writing on your stupid stories. You should be writing this.' that goes well with the 'it's your fault' crap I've been hearing from numerous people this week when I've not done anything wrong.

So think good thoughts.

I also managed to get at least the winter clothes out as far as sweats are concerned. I'll deal with the dress clothes (in different storage areas) at another time after I skim over the medical microbiology class text and decide what I want to keep in it.
