Writerly Ways

Well I probably won't be doing any during nano unless something speaks to me.

I went into Chauncey today to the ML's kick off party for nano. I'm going strong, over 4K today. I'm shocked.

I almost didn't go because it took so long to clean up that damn kitchen and living room (still plenty to do). Also I found out where those damn ants are. I TOLD the landlord to come looking because every day I clean up dozens of poisoned one. Well I went out the back door and the whole jam is so much lace. I TOLD him there had to be a nest. I'd hope his whole fucking wall came down except I'm in here and I'd probably die. He should have listened to me. And he damn well better not blame me.

Still the write in was good. It was nice to get out and see people. It was our standard group with a few of the long timers who rarely get there showing up as well. It was nice.

Now I'm exhausted. I slept like hell because I was keyed up and then the whole time thing. You know until two years ago, this never bothered me but now it does. I am unamused.
